22nd Annual Duck Race is a Huge Success for Big Brothers/Big Sisters

22nd Annual Duck RaceEmroch & Kilduff sponsorship included driving and texting exhibits and giveaways!

Close to 20,000 rubber duckies took to the waters July 30th to benefit the region’s Boys and Girls Club – and estimates say that close to 8,000 people came out to support this popular Richmond event. The rubber ducks were dropped into the Haxall Canal and then raced to the finish line for prizes including a Nissan Versa. Emroch & Kilduff is proud to have supported this noteworthy effort, which is the Big Brothers/Big Sisters’ largest annual fundraiser. Our firm set up a special exhibit about the dangers of texting and driving. Hundreds of attendees stopped by to get the message – and a few giveaways too! While visiting our booth, attendees signed the pledge to not text and drive and were entered for a chance to win a Nintendo® Wii Console. Congratulations to our winner, John Markowitz – and to everyone involved in this successful and exciting event.
